Thrilled on Tuesday

Here are four things that thrill me about my children this week.

1. Ariana was talking on the phone to my dad while Richie kept trying to grab the phone. When we finally gave him the phone he smiled and said, "Hi pop pop." He talked for quite a while but eventually said twice, "Hello," that's when I realized Richie was hearing a dial tone since he accidently put grandpa on hold.
2. We were listening to Justin Timerberlake's latest song "Can't Stop the Feeling." When it gets to the chorus Justin sings: "I can't stop the feeling so just dance dance dance" and Richard chimed in at the right time: "dah, dah, dah."
3. Richie and I took Ariana to school and waited outside with her until she could go in. At one point she called Richie and held out her arms and he ran to her and gave her a hug. Then he walked back to me and blew her a kiss.
4. Ariana brought home her monthly homework packet and I sat with her to do the assignment for the day and then got up to leave. She protested, "But I have to finish." I told her we had done the assignment for Monday and she looked sad. I asked her, "Do you want to do the whole thing?" and she said, "Yes." And that's what we did.
