18-month Doctor Appointment

So... I'm really late in posting this. sigh...

The doctor is pleased with Richie's growth as he's consistently moving up the charts. The resident who examined Richie first said, "He's a big boy. My daughter is 2 and is only wearing size 3 diapers."

We'd previously talked about Richie's language development. This time Dr. Burry said he should be able to say the names of eight body parts. I had to say I hadn't noticed him naming body parts but I'd have to pay more attention. And perhaps we weren't using them regularly when we talked to Richie. Although Richie is still not saying the names of body parts as of 2/19/16, he can point to the following when I ask him where it is: nose, eyes, ears, head, belly button, hands, feet.
