Thrilled on Tuesday

Here are two things that thrill me this week about my children.

1. Richie saw a picture of a dog and said, "Woof." Then he saw a cat and said, "Meow."
2. Ariana and I were watching a celebrity cooking show and saw asparagus being prepared with bacon and feta cheese. Ari has never wanted to try asparagus, but asked me to make the recipe for her. After tasting it she stated, "Hmmm... the combination of salty and sweet makes me not taste the asparagus. I like it!" Nevermind that there was nothing sweet in the dish, but she thinks she sounds just like the chefs on the cooking shows we watch.
